Re: The Baptism of John or Jesus which one.
Fri, October 12, 2007 - 5:39 PMWilburn,
The baptism of Jesus.
John said:
"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire" (John 3:11).
What is your understanding of "he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire"?
This is a question for everyone.
Peace,
Peter

Fri, October 12, 2007 - 9:43 PMFire is a pretty typical symbol for trials and temptations. The Holy Ghost is the indwelling that occurs when we believe - and not before.

Johns Baptism can't do this for you, only with the Baptism of Jesus can you Actually see God's shape and here his voice anytime you like.
I just saw his shape this morning and I here his Glorious voice now, it's like all the angles are singing there praises to me. and I'm not worthy, just a very lucky, Son of God.
Oh by the way we all have seen God and Heard his voice when we were with him in the beginning.
JOHN 5
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. -

Re: The Baptism of John or Jesus which one.
Sat, October 13, 2007 - 2:07 PMYou say:
<Oh by the way we all have seen God and Heard his voice when we were with him in the beginning.>
And then quote:
<Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE.>
So you say that we have all seen YHWH and heard his voice, and then quote that none of us have heard or seen him. Typo? -

Re: The Baptism of John or Jesus which one.
Sat, October 13, 2007 - 7:23 PMSo you say that we have all seen YHWH and heard his voice, I know you came from beginning, God is your Ture Father. All Life came from the beginning, God is Life and God is Light. In the beginning was LIGHT. I just found this.
God Is Light
This then, is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that (the) God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
I John 1:5
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a people of His own, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
I Peter 2:9
And there shall be no night there; and they need no lamp, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light, (shed light on them) and they shall reign forever and ever.
Revelation 22:5
The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
Romans 13:12
In whom the god of this age hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
II Corinthians 4:4
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
II Corinthians 4:6
Ye are the light of the world . . .
Matthew 5:14
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
While ye have (the) light (Jesus), believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.
John 12:36
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
Philippians 2:15
For so hath the Lord commanded us (apostles), saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
Acts 13:47
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
Ephesians 5:8 (Col. 1:12)
And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:19
Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8:12
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
John 9:5
I have come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 12:46
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up like calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:2 (Matthew 24:29, 30 )
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The only way to see God on Earth is His Image, within, the Holy Ghost, the Light, God is a Spirit, to be in a Spiritual state of that intense You have to fast, ever see God eat. People may write in Books that God eats, but I know better. If Jesus had to go to God with Fast, so do you.
