The question

It all really comes down to this
question.

Have you trusted and given your life
over to JESUS CHRIST?

Have you?

Is it simple? I don't think you can simply say that you have, you have to actually do it, and to do it, you have know who Jesus is, what he taught. I would say that trusting Jesus and giving your life to him is a pursuit, a journey, so I can't answer yay or nay but rather, that it is my choosen path.

I agree with you my brother Ricardo. However I think that we can agree that the day we
first trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior of our lives that we didn't know
as much as we know, or think we know now.

I made that decision when I was nine years old and I remember it like it was
yesterday. It was the happiest day of my life. I truly knew in my heart that I was
born again and that Jesus Christ set me free from my bondage. It was
my decision and no one made it for me. I knew exactly what I was doing.
Since then, I've had many ups and downs in my walk with Christ. There have been many times
that my faith failed me and times when I walked away. The spirit of Christ
did not let me go in my moments of weakness. He has been there for me
and still directs my path. I really wish that each day, I could recieve the
kingdom as a Child, but I get in my own way sometimes. It's amazing to me
because the Holy spirit want us to grow and mature and to teach us, but at the same time
wants us to remain childlike and to come back to our first love and day of salvation.

      Mark 10:15
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

There is something special about trusting Christ with Childlike faith. That is the place
where our "learning and knowledge" cannot get in the way. It's the most basic place of salvation
Where all we need to do is accept that gift of and truth of salvation as a Child.
The much more complicated road comes when we grow into "adolescence".
Nevertheless, that is a road that must be traveled, and we only need to look to
ourselves as to why the relationship can become complicated.

You are right though, that act of believing is an action. We all know what we believe in our
own hearts. The journey comes when we choose to step out of our youth into our walk with
Christ. There are many peaks and valleys as we travel, but Christ remains constant.

The walk is definitely our choice:

      John 6:
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

      Peace and Blessings

Luke, well said, I think that in the end it will be as though a clouded veil is lifted and in seeing things clearly we will be amazed at what actually is. I know in that day we will all be thankful that it is the grace of God in which we place our faith!

I look forward to that day Ricardo!

I amazed (but thankful) that all we have is the bible to reference.

I can only imagine what Christ's followers were
able to see and hear, and even they did not fully
understand. He was constantly correcting them
          and they are our teachers!

Our belief and faith will afford us the opportunity for
further education that is out of this world!

Oswald Chambers thoughts on this subject.

      THE "GO" OF UNCONDITIONAL IDENTIFICATION

"One thing thou lackest: . . come, take up the cross, and follow Me." Mark 10:21

The rich young ruler had the master passion to be perfect. When he saw Jesus Christ, he wanted to be like Him. Our Lord never puts personal holiness to the fore when He calls a disciple; He puts absolute annihilation of my right to myself and identification with Himself - a relationship with Himself in which there is no other relationship. Luke 14:26 has nothing to do with salvation or sanctification, but with unconditional identification with Jesus Christ. Very few of us know the absolute "go" of abandonment to Jesus.

"Then Jesus beholding him loved him." The look of Jesus will mean a heart broken for ever from allegiance to any other person or thing. Has Jesus ever looked at you? The look of Jesus transforms and transfixes. Where you are "soft" with God is where the Lord has looked at you. If you are hard and vindictive, insistent on your own way, certain that the other person is more likely to be in the wrong than you are, it is an indication that there are whole tracts of your nature that have never been transformed by His gaze.

"One thing thou lackest . . ." The only "good thing" from Jesus Christ's point of view is union with Himself and nothing in between.

"Sell whatsoever thou hast . ." I must reduce myself until I am a mere conscious man, I must fundamentally renounce possessions of all kinds, not to save my soul (only one thing saves a man - absolute reliance upon Jesus Christ) - but in order to follow Jesus. "Come, and follow Me." And the road is the way He went.

<Very few of us know the absolute "go" of abandonment to Jesus.>
        It could be said:
Humility is the willingness to be regarded as unimportant in the eyes of other men.
Humiliation is the willingness to regard yourself as unimportant. To be emptied to the point of losing not just a sense of entitlement, but even the desire for it.
        I'm still being taught humility.

        <"Sell whatsoever thou hast . .">
But what I have is not yet everything that I've dreamed of having! How about if I just simplify? Because, if people see me with nothing they'll think I'm a failure. I want more for you, Lord, so people can see that Christians are sucessfull and believe in you!

<not to save my soul (only one thing saves a man - absolute reliance upon Jesus Christ) - but in order to follow Jesus.>
And exactly where are you leading me, Lord? I mean, are you sure you're heading in the right direction?...

Not that I don't trust you...
        Just asking... ;)

        Peace,
        Peter

          I like your perspective Peter.

When we look at the parable of the rich man.
He really wanted to follow Jesus. He loved what
Jesus was saying and doing. He wanted to be
identified with Jesus. Until that moment that Jesus
dropped the bombshell on him. His wealth was
the thing he was not willing to part with in order
to be identified with Jesus Christ.

We each need to identify the thing, or things in our
life that is preventing us from completely giving
our life over to Jesus Christ. I believe in most
cases it would not be our great wealth.

You can be sure however, that if you are truly seeking
to be identified with Jesus Christ, that he will let
you know what needs to be sacrificed in order
to follow him. If you are truly seeking him, your
spirit will not rest easy until you do give it up.

          Peace and Blessings

Yes; with all my heart, mine and soul.

It's not about believing Jesus died on the cross for your sins. If that was true we all would not be diseased, sick or dying, for death is a disease. He HEALED the sick, dying, diseased and DEAD.

The farther, son and Holy Ghost. Is the only way to be saved.

The farther; is to return to God with all your heart, with fast. If you believe, God will feed you while you are returning to him

The son; Is returning to God in Jesus’ name. His name is what he taught, did and the way he taught fasting. By water and Spirit. Spirit is fasting. The water is where he taught his Baptism.

The Holy Ghost; is what you get as a gift from God for doing this in the name of Jesus.

The Holy Image of God, is what God will hang in your Temple, after you have cleansed it out,

The Temple is your body. Not a building built by man.

If you have done this, You will be gifted with the Holy Image of God, meaning you can see the Holy Image of with your own eyes anytime you like 24/7.

If you continue in his name and really cleanse your Temple out, God will Praise you 24/7 within, with his word, because how YOU are the sons of God.

Your reward for doing this is life everlasting.

We can believe what every we want, but without works, faith, and labor, it is belief.

I AM and I'm not the only one, I have taught others LIFE.

Giving LIFE to others is God's LAW. I was dead, now I AM alive for ever more.

    Pila.
